I had a short interview with my friend who lives in Liverpool. I filmed the interview in Everton Hills with Liverpool in the background rather than having just one iconic location in the background. You can see the Radio City Tower and the Anglican Cathedral and the Liver Building. The background matches the whole topic because he speaks about Liverpool and why he likes living there and what opportunities there are for people there.
I set the camera to the right of him whilst he is stood up and he. looks at the left side of the camera into the empty space whilst I asked him questions.
It is being filmed in broad daylight so everything in the background can be seen.
I clipped the microphone onto his collar so everything he is saying is loud and clear. We also filmed it in a quiet area so everything can be heard.
I asked him two questions and the first question was what do you like about Liverpool, I asked this because I needed a young person talking positively about the city. I then asked if there was any opportunities in the city and he talks about the different colleges and universities within the city even the music venues for live music and the art galleries and the football grounds for practise and football teams.
I had him sign a contributor release form which is a form explaining what he is agreeing to, it shows I have had his permission to let him star in my production.
